How we build dependable systems

Our engineering principles, our approach to security and reliability, and how work moves from development to a live, maintained system.

Engineering Principles

How we approach problems and structure solutions.

Understand the problem before writing any code.

Structure that stays understandable as it grows.

Mature, supported tools chosen for the job.

Working software, checked before it ships.

Security and Reliability

Sound security practice as a default, not an afterthought.

Handle business and personal data carefully.

Fast enough to use, reliable enough to trust.

Confidence that comes from verifying behaviour.

Delivery

A predictable path from idea to working software.

Getting changes live without drama.

Software that keeps up as things change.
