Technology insights

How we think about the tools we build with, and why we avoid chasing novelty.

Maturity over novelty

New technology is exciting but risky. A tool that is only a few months old may lack documentation, community support, and long-term maintenance. For business systems that need to keep running for years, those things matter more than being on the cutting edge.

What we look for in a tool

  • Active maintenance and a clear release cadence
  • Strong documentation and a large, helpful community
  • Stability and backward compatibility
  • A realistic path to long-term support
  • An open, standard approach that avoids lock-in

Choosing per project, not per fashion

We do not force every project onto the same stack. The right choice depends on the problem, the data, the team, and the deployment environment. What stays constant is our preference for tools that are proven and well understood.
